Moqueca Baiana my style

  • 200 g frozen cod
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 200 g diced tomatoes
  • 1 small spoonful of Harissa
  • 250 g frozen shrimps
  • coriander to taste
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 500 ml coconut milk
  • 2 limes
  • 50 g pumpkin
  • 50 g broccoli

In a saucepan over medium-low heat, heat the coconut oil, add the chopped onion, carrot, garlic and bell bell pepper, sauté until they begin to soften about 5 minutes.

Add the tomato and harissa and sauté for another 5 minutes.

Add the coconut milk and reduce the heat to a minimum, add the prawns and cod and cook until the fish is flaky, about 10 minutes or so.

When serving add a few coriander leaves to taste, grated lime peel and the boiled broccoli and pumpkin on the side.
